Rd's 11 & 12 Croft
Race Report by Paula Hamilton 

Team Jato Motorsport boss Jeff Harris allowed me to take time off this weekend so that I could go to the Festival of Speed at Goodwood. Thus this report is going to be brief and to the point. 

Tony Rodgers was the team's only driver for rounds eleven and twelve as James Harris was not racing. However James was present and worked on his team mate's car instead. 

Saturday morning qualifying was fairly satisfactory for Tony and his time of 1:24.491 put him 16th overall on the grid out of 27 starters. 

His race on Saturday afternoon was going well until he was knocked off the circuit by Hideto Yasuoka. Neither driver finished. 

Sunday's race was always going to be a difficult one as Tony had to start in 24th place. He was going very well and could have finished in 7th place or higher when a suspension failure, as a result of another driver making contact, put him out of the race. Tony was very upset as Croft is his favourite circuit. 

However the team will be back to full strength at Snetterton for the next two 
rounds and yours truly will be there to write a more comprehensive report.
