Rd's 1 & 2 Mondello Park: A great start to the season!

Round 1 - Sunday 20th April 2003 
A cloudy but dry qualifying session saw new team signing Tony Rodgers finish in 14th place with a time of 1:43:343 and James Harris coming 22nd with a time of 1:43:905. It was all very close with a pole position time of 1:42.490. 

The race itself was held late afternoon in similar conditions. Tony finished in a respectable 10th place with a best lap time of 1:43:857 only 15:930 seconds behind the winner. Sadly James did not finish but had a best lap time of 1:44:472 which put him 22nd on the grid for Monday's race. 

Round 2 - Monday 21st April 2003 
The race itself was held in wet conditions early afternoon Easter Monday. What a difference twenty four hours can make and a brilliant result was about to occur for the team when the cars lined up on the grid. Tony Rodgers fought his way up to a podium finish in 3rd Place overall and in the Championship class and James, well what can you say! He also fought his way up through the grid from 22nd and finished 8th overall but a podium 2nd in the Scholarship class. He also set fastest lap in his class and was also 5th fastest overall. Well done James, to come 8th out of 24 starters in the wet is a wonderful start to the season. Congratulations Tony, it is great to have you on board and a fantastic start to your season as well.
